Marquise Natural Diamonds

The marquise is a long, boat-shaped brilliant with a point at each end. Of all the shapes, it has one of the largest face-up areas for its carat weight, making it a striking way to maximise visible size.

Look for even symmetry between the two halves and a modest bow-tie. Both points should be protected in the setting.
